ASG and University Bookstore Scholarships Deadline Extended

The Associated Student Government and ASG/University Bookstore scholarship applications deadline has been extended to March 31st at 8:00am. These scholarships are awarded by merit of leadership, community involvement and overall strength as a student. Please note that there is specific criteria for each scholarship. The Associated Student Government scholarship is geared towards middle class students whose families struggle to pay for the demanding cost of higher education, so awards between $500 and $2000 are directly applied to tuition. The ASG/University Bookstore scholarship is for all Texas State students, and awards range from $300 to $500. Please visit the scholarship page for the criteria and how to apply.

Where can you park?

We know that there isn't many places for students to park, but have you heard about the Mill Street Lot? This lot has over 900 spots! The bus that picks up at this spot takes you directly to the Quad then to the LBJ bus loop and back to Mill Street. This is the quickest route for our commuter students. Take advantage of this great location.

Parking and Transportation

On February 4th, Transportation Services presented to ASG the new potential bus fee and parking permit increase. Students were able to ask questions to the director of Transportation Services, Ms. Nancy Nusbaum, and address any inquiries they had. Below you can find the presentation that was prestented for your knowledge along with a memorandum from President McDaniel pertaining to the issue. If you have any questions, please email us at asg@txstate.edu.
