The legislative power of the Associated Student Government is vested in the Legislature. Made up of a Senate of undergraduates and a House of graduate students, the legislature drafts and debates legislation which act as offical recommendations to university officials. The legislature has the responsibility of representing the wide verity of students on campus and drafting impactful legislation for the betterment of students at Texas State. The Senate has the power to confirm all executive appointments, and oversees the ASG Elections. The Graduate House is tasked with representing the students seeking advanced degrees at Texas State.
