The judicial power of the Associated Student Government shall is vested in the Supreme Court. Consisting of one Chief Justice and a maximum of four Associate Justices, members of the Supreme Court are appointed by the President of the Associated Student Government upon confirmation of a two-thirds majority of all ASG Senators. The judicial branch is tasked with ruling on cases brought to the court concerning constitutionality of any action by members of ASG or legislation passed by the legislature. The Supreme Court cannot act unless petitioned by a member of the ASG or any student at Texas State.
